Safflower oil is used in cosmetics for its moisturising qualities. Like Hemp Seed and Sunflower oil, this oil has to be formulated with saturated oils otherwise the soap bar will be too soft.


A useful oil when blended with many other cold pressed carrier oils, it is absorbed quickly and easily - due to a high linoleic acid content - making it suitable for all skin types.


It is one of natures best emollients for skin care as it increases the moisture content of the skin and is particularly good for sensitive skin, with Omega 6 fatty acids it nourishes without heaviness and helps to balance the skin's natural oil production.
