Honey contains enzymes, vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants which help to heal and sterilise wounds and ulcers, an aid in the growth of new skin.


With known antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, honey is very moisturising as it draws moisture in from the air which can help prevent skin scaring.
