About Mary Jean

As I have dry sensitive skin and my dad has problems with dermatitis, shop bought soaps were not helping.

Several of my friends had much the same problem so I began to make soaps using the age old cold process method.

Mary Jean was formed once we were all happy with our formulations, our soaps use organic oils suitable for different skin types - moisturising and gentle for your skin, such as our Bergamot & Patchouli with Avocado for itchy damaged skin.

Located within the heart of speyside in the Scottish Highlands we draw many an inspiration from our unspoilt landscape and wildlife... seeing a wild pheasant or badger cross close by you is so peaceful.

For those reasons, as a family business we use the least amount of packaging we safely can for our products, sought from recyclable resources to lessen our impact on the environment.

The best thing about a handmade product is there is no fuss and little waste so we only leave a wee footprint on our planet.
